Captain Flintheart’s iPod

A new segment I’m trying out. I might be delusional to think that anyone actually cares what the fuck I’m listening to. But if anyone does, this is the ten songs I’ve been constantly listening to the last 2 weeks.

  1. Van Morrison – “Call Me Up In Dreamland” His Band And Street Choir
  2. The Mamas and the Papas – “I Saw Her Again” The Mamas and Papas,
  3. Lemonheads – “I Just Can’t Take It Anymore” (Gram Parsons cover) Varshons
  4. The Old 97’s – “Barrier Reed” Too Far To Care
  5. Hurrah! A Bolt Of Light! – “If You See Me” their myspace page
  6. Rhett Miller – “Four Eyed Girl” Instigator
  7. R.E.M. – “Radio Free Europe” Murmur
  8. R.E.M. – “(Don’t Go Back to) Rockville” Reckoning
  9. Paul McCartney – “Eat At Home” Ram
  10. Hank Williams – “(I Heard That) Lonesome Whistle Blow” 40 Greatest Hits

I consume a lot of music, so sometimes to weed things out if I find myself going back to certain songs over and over again I will put them in a playlist. Eventually over a week or so, I end up with a handful of songs i’m feeling at the moment. That’s what these ended up being.
