Computer Keyboards and its Lack of Evolution

funny pictures cats try to restart computer Computer Keyboards and its Lack of EvolutionIn recent years, we’ve come a long way with technology , yet I feel like the computer keyboard I’m using now is EXACTLY the same as the Radioshack one I had in 1987. The only difference is it’s smaller and less bulky, but its initial layout is 100% intact. Thus I inquire why someone hasn’t designed a key to press when a word is highlighted that will automatically capitalize it? Yet we have a “Num Lock” key…when the fuck would I ever not want to use the number keys on the right side of the keyboard when I press them? While were on it, what is the deal with the “Insert” button? Why would you continually want to write over the word your typing? If it needs to be changed, you can put your cursor after the letter and backspace it and change the letter in question. Instead, you will inevitably forget you have the “Insert” button on (since their is no indicator) and keep typing and totally fuck yourself.

Anyways, if I had ambition I’d tape an extra button to a keyboard and mail it to Apple as a prototype. Than collect unemployment as I wait for the Uncle Scrooge esque millions to roll in.

God Bless the U.S.A. (or at least the entrepreneurship associated with said country).
