So a new candidate for the Governor of Alabama has decided to throw it all out there. He is pretty much saying that if you don’t speak English, then get the fuck out of Alabama. He puts it a little more politely though. Watch for yourselves.

As you know, we try to stray away from politics as much as we can here at TCM; however, we do enjoy a good smackdown from time to time. What better to kick off a new series called “Smackdowns” than highlighting the one Llyod Bentsen handed Dan Quayle in the 1988 Vice Presidential debate. I know this nowhere near to the equivalent of Mick Foley being pedigreed bed of tacks, but this is the mother of all political smackdowns. Enjoy.
