Mr. T’s Flavorwave

This is a real infomercial. I stayed up late the other night so I could finish watching the whole thing. Mr. T has some genius one liners, also note this is the fakest studio audience you will likely ever see. It is clearly edited from another tv program.

Bottom line: if Mr. T is on tv, people will happily watch it (the captains  included).

Mr. T. is the MAN! It’s great to see him out there again after being away for so long. I PITY THE FOOL who doesn’t like him!

“The A Team” was a great show, much underrated. Just fun, mindless entertainment not to be taken too seriously. I loved the way they shot machine guns constantly but nobody ever got hit! Bombs went off constantly but they always made sure to show that nobody was hurt. Can’t wait for the remake.

Not long ago I saw a “True Hollywood Story” episode on him. I’d forgotten how overexposed he was. There was a guy who collected Mr. T. merchandise and you wouldn’t believe how much there was! Everything from action figures to lunchboxes and a myriad of other things!

My fave artifact from his Eighties incarnation was a music video called “Mr. T’s Commandment,” which basically urged kids to respect their parents. It was one of those “So Bad it’s Good” cultural items with lines like, “Honor thy father and mother, the Bible makes it clear, if you break the rule/God help you fool, You’ve MR. T to fear!” Classic!
