Denver The Last Dinosaur.
Remember that gem?
Another late 80′s cartoon that I watched religiously. The premise is that this dinosaur egg was hatched now (present day) in the La Brea Tar Pits in California and taken in by a group of teenagers…not unlike the plot to Encino Man. Anyway, the dinosaur (now given the ridiculous name of Denver) becomes their boy and they teach him how to play guitar in an 80′s rock band.
My question is how do you put sunglasses and a Hawaiian shirt on a fucking dinosaur and all of a sudden he blends in? Was the 1980′s music scene really that insane?

Perhaps they were trying to captalize on the success of the late 80′s grunge band, Dinosaur Jr. ?
